Fear not, for your friendly neighbourhood indie blog is to the rescue with Weekends, a most brilliant track to celebrate the best part of the week. You may wish you had more than 48 hours in a weekend, well the bad news is that you can't, but the good news is, you now have this emoriffic song dedicated to all the Saturdays and Sundays out there.

some trivia for y'all: some of The Perishers' songs have been aired on episodes of the OC and one tree hill. whether you are a fan of those teen dramas or not, I'm sure the musical selection on those series are top-notch and here's another song, My Heart, perfect for a rainy day like today. Revealing songs like these leaves some regret as it is akin to showing one's secret place of solace/secrecy/whatever to the whole world, but for the greater good, for the acoustic enjoyment of everyone, hope you enjoy this five-star hit. Perhaps it will hit the charts like Hey There Delilah and be a long belated #1 hit.
